edition.pm (“edition”, “we”, “us”) is a tool for building and publishing websites. These terms set out the deal between you and us when you use it. By creating an account or using edition, you agree to them.
edition is in preview. That means it is free, it is still changing, and parts of it may break, move, or be removed while we build it out. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect you.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to it secure and keep your details accurate.
You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must not use edition if the law where you are bars you from doing so.
You keep ownership of everything you add to edition: your text, images, code, designs, and the sites you build. We do not claim them.
To run the service, you give us the permission we need to store, process, back up, and serve that content: for example, to host your pages, deliver them to visitors, render previews, and show your work back to you in the editor. This permission lasts only as long as you keep the content on edition, and exists only so the service can function.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you use, including any text, images, fonts, or code you upload or paste in. Do not put anything on edition that you are not allowed to use.
Do not use edition to publish or do anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful, and do not try to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service or use it to attack anyone else. This covers the usual: malware, phishing, spam, content that infringes someone else’s rights, and content that invades privacy.
If content or a site breaks these rules, we may remove it, take the site offline, or suspend the account behind it.
Beyond what the law requires, some things are simply not a fit for edition. These are the clearest examples, not a complete list, and we read them broadly. edition is not the place to build, publish, or promote:
edition is free while it is in preview. We may add paid plans or start charging for some features later. If we do, we will tell you before you are charged, and you can decide whether to continue.
We work to keep edition running and your sites up, but during preview we provide it “as is” and “as available”, with no guaranteed uptime. We may change, pause, or stop features, and we will try to give notice when a change matters to you.
You can close your account at any time. Closing it takes your sites offline and removes them for everyone on the account. Closed accounts are recoverable by support for a period, and we will permanently erase your data on request.
We may suspend or remove an account or a site that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or is required to be removed by law.
While edition is in preview, we may also decline service, or suspend or remove any account or site, at our discretion. We will give notice where we reasonably can. We will not do this on the basis of any characteristic protected by law.
Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: edition is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties; we are not liable to you for any loss arising from your use of edition, including indirect or knock-on losses, lost profits or revenue, and lost or corrupted data; and in any event our total liability to you will not exceed £100. Keep your own backups of anything important.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using edition after a change, you accept the updated terms.
This Privacy Policy explains how edition.pm (“edition”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use edition. It applies to edition itself, not to the websites you create and publish with it.
We collect the following information:
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve edition; to create and secure your account; to communicate with you; to understand how edition is used; and to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues. We do not sell your personal information.

We may also share information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of edition and our users.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate edition, keep you signed in, and understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of edition may not work properly without them.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide edition. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at help@edition.pm.
